Mayor Johnny L. Ragland has always called Warrior home. He was elected as a Councilmember in 2004 and served in that role for eight years; in 2012 he was elected to Mayor. As a councilman and mayor, he has always been committed to making the City of Warrior a better place for its Citizens. He tries to always be accessible and spends many hours addressing the issues and needs of the Citizens of Warrior.

Mayor Ragland works diligently to secure new businesses and he’s there to lend a helping hand to the City’s established businesses. He is also a member of the Cullman Jefferson Gas Board which serves a portion of Cullman, Jefferson, Blount and Morgan Counties.

Mayor Ragland loves his family and is currently married to Brenda Ragland. He is the proud father of four sons Lee; his wife, Carla; Rodney; his wife, Brandie; David; his wife Cecilia and Brian.
